Deferral request form

About deferral requests

Deferral requests will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis.

Before requesting a deferral, you must first accept your offer and fulfil all of the admission conditions specified in it. This means that, if you’ve applied as a high school student, we’ll proceed with your request once we receive your final grades and proof that you’ve earned your high school diploma.

If you’re granted the deferral, you can’t attend any educational institution (i.e., secondary school or another post-secondary institution) during the deferral period.

Please note that you can't defer an offer for the following programs :
- English Intensive Program (EIP)
- Bachelor of Nursing
- Music (BMus)
- Acting (B.F.A)
- Programs in Teacher Education
